Hulhudhuffaaru was an uninhabited island until 1995 when it was officially
declared as inhabited after relocating the people of two other smaller islands
in Raa Atoll - Ungulu and Undoodhoo - to this island. The island is 184.1 km
with a registered population of 1, 572 people.
The
government has been targeting develop the roads of islands, located in
different regions of the Maldives, to counteract the recurring issues and
provide safe and convenient roads for the citizens of the island.

- Design & Construction of Carriageway and Sidewalk.
- Design and Construction of road side gutters and storm water management system.
- Installation of Speed Breakers and Road Sign boards.
- Installation of Road Lights.
- Installation of Street Lights on Existing Roads.
- Construction of Speed Breakers on Existing Roads.
- Painting of Zebra Crossings on Existing Roads.
