80% of ADh. Maamigili Road Construction Project Completed

80% of the roads in ADh. Maamigili being developed on a modern scale have been completed. A total of six roads, spanning a total of 4.8 km, are currently under construction for the project. So far, all the work of laying cable junctions and excavating on the six roads has been completed. The construction of settlement tanks and installation of pipes on five roads have been finished, while 80% of the work has been completed on one road.
Work on curbstones has been completed on three roads, and paving works have been completed on four roads. Additionally, streetlights have been installed on these roads. The construction of an aggregate base course (ABC) on one road has also been completed. Furthermore, 75% of the ABC has been completed along another road.
Currently, preparations are underway for the layering of ABC on Gevehi Magu, the installation of curbstones on the beach road, and the installation of keywalls, as well as a sub-base on Ameenee Magu. Work on the project began on 26th September 2020. The total cost of the project is MVR 95,043,314.41.
