Hdh. Nolhivaram Football Ground Officially Opened

The football ground in Hdh.
Nolhivaram, developed by the corporation, has been officially opened.
Abdullah Rafiu, the Minister of
Sports, Fitness, and Recreation, inaugurated the facility during a special
ceremony held on the island.
The project agreement was signed on
April 20 this year, with construction commencing in May. The development,
valued at MVR 4,286,196.00, was successfully completed within seven months.
Following the opening ceremony,
Minister Abdullah Rafiu expressed gratitude to the Road Development Corporation
(RDC) for executing the project efficiently and without any major challenges.
The new football ground is expected
to enhance sports opportunities for the youth of Nolhivaram, providing them
with a platform to play and improve their football skills. Such initiatives are
also seen as vital for promoting the development of rural sports in the
Maldives and fostering greater interest in sports at the national level.
