Adh. Mahibadhoo Council Meets with RDC Officials to Discuss Road Development Project

Members of the Adh. Mahibadhoo Council recently met with Brigadier General
(Retd) Ali Zuhair, Managing Director of the Road Development Corporation (RDC),
and other RDC officials at the corporation’s head office.
The meeting focused on the ongoing road development project in Mahibadhoo.
The second phase of the Mahibadhoo road development project was awarded to RDC on August 15, 2023.
During the discussions, island council members expressed concerns regarding the project's progress and construction plans. Both parties engaged in comprehensive talks to address these issues and ensure the project aligns with the community's needs.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore potential collaboration between RDC and the council, focusing on joint efforts to support the road development initiative and meet the island community's additional needs.
