Construction Begins to Upgrade Mulah Health Center into a Hospital

The practical work to upgrade the M. Mulah Health Center
into a full-fledged hospital has officially commenced, marking a significant
step forward in strengthening healthcare services in the region.
The project was inaugurated by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu
during a special ceremony held in Mulah as part of his visit to the province.
The event was also attended by Minister of Health Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim, Member
of Parliament for Mulak Constituency Ibrahim Naufal, Managing Director of the
corporation Ibrahim Nazeem, and President of Mulah Council Ahmed Jamal.
The project agreement was signed on May 28 this year and is
being implemented at a cost of MVR 24.5 million. Construction is expected to be
completed by early August next year.
Once completed, the upgraded facility will offer expanded
medical services and improved healthcare access for residents of Mulah and
surrounding areas.
