Construction of New Police Station in M. Mulah Officially Underway

The construction of a new police station building in M.
Mulah has officially begun, marking a key step in strengthening law enforcement
infrastructure in the island.
The inauguration of the project was officiated by Minister
of Home Affairs and Technology, Ali Ihusaan. Also present at the ceremony were
Commissioner of Police Ismail Naveen and Managing Director of the corporation,
Ibrahim Nazeem.
The practical work on the Mulah Police Station was initiated
by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu during his recent visit to Meemu Atoll.
The project agreement was signed
on July 22, 2025, with a total project value of MVR 6.4 million. Construction
is scheduled for completion by May 2026.
