Contract for the Development of Velidhoo Hospital and a New Health Centre in Fenfushi awarded to RDC

RDC has been awarded the
contract for the construction of two key health infrastructure projects — a new
hospital in N. Velidhoo and a Health Centre in ADh. Fenfushi.
The contracts were awarded during an official ceremony where
three state-owned enterprises were entrusted with the development of health
facilities across 10 islands.
The hospital in N. Velidhoo will be constructed at a total
contract value of MVR 108,322,537.03, with a scheduled completion period of 540
days. Similarly, the development of the Fenfushi Health Centre has been awarded
at a cost of MVR 26,839,684.82, also to be completed within 540 days.
The agreements were signed by Managing Director Brigadier
General (Retd) Ali Zuhair on behalf of the corporation, and State Minister
Ismail Abdulla on behalf of the Ministry of Health.
