Contract Signed for Addu City Link Road and Highway Reconstruction Project

RDC has been awarded the contract for the redevelopment of
the Addu City link road, as well as the construction of roads and a drainage
system across key areas of the city.
The agreement was signed during a special ceremony held at
Dharubaaruge by the Minister of Construction and Infrastructure, Dr. Abdulla
Muththalib, and RDC’s Managing Director, Brigadier General (Retd) Ali Zuhair.
Valued at MVR 829.7 million, the project is to be completed
within a period of 1,440 days.
As part of the project, a total of 67.58 kilometers of CTB
roads will be developed, including the laying of asphalt or construction of
paved roads. A water drainage system will also be installed in Feydhoo.
The redevelopment also includes road markings, installation
of signboards, construction of pavements, and establishment of an effective
drainage network.
