The project agreement was signed
between the Ministry of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure and RDC during

Atoll. The occasion underscored the Government’s continued commitment to
strengthening national connectivity, improving public infrastructure, and
supporting balanced regional development.
The agreement was signed on behalf

implementation of the project in accordance with national standards and
development priorities.
The Dhanbidhoo Roads Development
Project aims to upgrade the island’s existing road network to modern standards,
with a focus on improving road durability, drainage, and overall safety. The
project is expected to enhance accessibility for residents, facilitate the
smooth movement of vehicles and pedestrians, and support essential services and
economic activities on the island.
Upon completion, the upgraded road
infrastructure will contribute to improved living conditions, reduced
maintenance challenges, and stronger connectivity within the island, aligning
with the Government’s broader vision of sustainable and resilient
infrastructure development throughout the Maldives.
