Corporation Awarded Two Development Projects in Kurendhoo

The Corporation has been awarded contracts for two major development
projects in Kurendhoo, Faadhippolhu Atoll, as part of the Government’s ongoing
efforts to enhance essential infrastructure in the islands.
During his official visit to Kurendhoo, His Excellency President Dr. Mohamed
Muizzu announced that the Corporation has been entrusted with the modernization
of the island’s road network and the construction of a new building for the Kurendhoo
Health Centre.
The agreement for the Kurendhoo Roads Modernization Project was signed on
behalf of the Government by the Minister of Construction, Housing and
Infrastructure, Dr. Abdulla Muththalib. The Managing Director of the
Corporation, Mr. Ibrahim Nazeem, signed the agreement on behalf of the
Corporation.
A separate agreement for the construction of the new Kurendhoo Health Centre
building was signed on behalf of the Government by the Minister of Health, Mr.
Abdulla Nazim Ibrahim. The agreement was also signed on behalf of the
Corporation by its Managing Director, Mr. Ibrahim Nazeem.
These projects reflect the Government’s commitment to improving healthcare
facilities and upgrading critical road infrastructure to modern standards,
thereby enhancing accessibility, safety, and the overall quality of life for
the residents of Kurendhoo.
