RDC Awarded Contract for the Establishment of Water and Sewerage Services in Kudahuvadhoo’s Reclaimed Area

An agreement has been
signed between RDC and the Ministry of Construction, Housing and
Infrastructure to establish water and sewerage systems in the reclaimed area of Dh. Kudahuvadhoo, as well as to enhance the capacity of Kudahuvadhoo’s existing
water supply system.
The agreement was signed
on behalf of the government by the Minister of Construction, Housing and
Infrastructure, Dr. Abdulla Muththalib, while Managing Director, Brigadier
General (Retd) Ali Zuhair, signed on behalf of the Corporation.
As part of the project,
RDC will install water and sewerage pipelines, establish sewer pumping
stations, and set up sewer junctions. Additionally, the project will include
the installation of water meters and the construction of an outfall. The project is scheduled for completion within a timeline of 700 days.
