RDC contracted for the Design and Build of Major Roads at R. Alifushi.

Road Development Corporation (RDC) has signed an agreement
today with the Ministry of National Planning, Housing and Infrastructure to
design and build Major Roads at R. Alifushi.
Managing Director, Moosa Ali Manik signed on behalf of RDC
while the Director General, Ms. Shaana Farooq signed the agreement on behalf of MNPHI.
The project was awarded to
RDC for MVR 90,956,112.97 and is being carried out under the road design and
building policy of R. Alifushi. A total of 3.8 kilometers of road
will be paved and storm water management will be installed. This includes the
installation of streetlights as well.
The project was awarded to RDC to be completed within 540 days.
