The Road Development Corporation
(RDC) marked its anniversary with the launch of a comprehensive five-year
Strategic Action Plan, presented during a special staff night event. The plan
was officially introduced by State Minister for Construction and Infrastructure,
Hassan Rasheed, alongside RDC’s Managing Director, Brigadier General (Retired)
Ali Zuhair. This significant launch was accompanied by the release of a
detailed handbook, outlining the plan’s goals and the strategies for achieving
them.
The Strategic Action Plan aims to
create a well-defined pathway toward realizing RDC’s vision, focusing on five
key priority areas. These priorities include: reforming the corporation’s
administrative framework to enhance operational efficiency, bolstering
stakeholder confidence to reinforce partnerships, strengthening internal
capabilities to improve overall performance, expanding and diversifying
business operations for greater market reach, and implementing effective
financial strategies to support long-term growth and stability.
In addition to the plan’s launch,
the evening recognized outstanding achievements within the RDC community.
Employees and high achievers were awarded plaques in honor of their
contributions and accomplishments on both national and international platforms
over the past year, adding to the celebratory spirit of the night.
