Brigadier General (Retd) Ali
Zuhair, Managing Director of RDC, held a meeting today with the members of the
R. Maduvvari Council to address concerns related to the road development
project in R. Maduvvari.
The primary focus of the discussions
revolved around projects in R. Maduvvari, including the football ground
sub-base, the school boundary wall, and the major road development project.
Council members emphasized the urgency of completing the sub-base project and
the school boundary wall at the earliest possible time. The meeting provided a
platform to address specific challenges and concerns related to these essential
projects.
Council members underscored the
importance of prioritizing the sub-base project and the school boundary wall,
highlighting their significance for the community. Both parties engaged in a
constructive discussion to identify and resolve any issues that might impede
the smooth execution of these initiatives.
One of the key points of interest
was the discussion surrounding the commencement date of the Major Road
development project, a venture with far-reaching implications for the
community's infrastructure. The deliberations aimed to set a clear timeline and
ensure a coordinated effort between RDC and Maduvvari Council.
The road development project was
awarded to RDC for MVR 82,813,732.77 and is being carried out under the road
design and building policy of R. Maduvvari. The project's scope includes the
application of asphalt over a combined distance of 3.5 kilometers, along with
the implementation of a stormwater management system.
Further updates on the progress of
these projects will be communicated as developments unfold.
