Management of RDC meet with Th. Thimarafushi Council

In a meeting today, the management of the Road Development Corporation (RDC)
convened with Th. Thimarafushi Council to address the status of Th.
Thimarafushi Road development project. Representing RDC were two Deputy
Managing Directors, Mr. Mohamed Asbah Ali Naseer and Mr. Mohamed Nabeeh Afeef,
along with the Senior Management Team.
The discussions centered around the
current halt in the project and strategies to navigate challenges for a smooth
resumption. As of now, the project is on a temporary halt, prompting the need
for a collaborative effort to identify a viable path forward. The meeting
delved into specific issues impeding progress and explored potential solutions
to ensure the project's timely and efficient execution.
Stressing the significance of
cooperation, both parties emphasized the need for seamless collaboration to overcome
hurdles and expedite the project's resumption.
This project aims to develop a
total length of 4 km with asphalt layering, incorporating the establishment of
a stormwater management system, the installation of speed breakers,
streetlights, and road markings.
Thimarafushi Council and RDC
management remain committed to addressing challenges with a shared vision of
enhancing infrastructure and promoting sustainable development in the region.
